DCDC ONLINE TESTING WINDOW

Tuesday, January 7, 2020 - Thursday, January 9, 2020 (THREE DAYS ONLY)
All testing must be completed by 5:00 p.m. CT each day.

DCDC Online Testing Proctor Information

Thank you for supporting the students of your local DECA chapter by proctoring our online tests. Your willingness to proctor these students affords them the opportunity to compete with their peers across the district, state, and nation. Please review the information below. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Steven.Mitchell@tn.gov.

Business/marketing teachers and DECA chapter advisors are not allowed to proctor the online testing for the district competitive events under any circumstance.  Otherwise, the entire chapter will be disqualified. School counselors, instructional facilitators, administrators, and librarians make perfect school-site proctors. Please schedule your chapter’s testing accordingly.

Proctor Instructions

BEFORE TESTING WEEK
  1. Have your local chapter advisor register you as a proctor in the online registration system. The local advisor has the instructions on how to make sure you are registered.
  2. Work with your local advisor to schedule all of the competitors for a testing session. While each test must be completed in one testing session, it is acceptable to have multiple testing sessions for one chapter.
  3. Read the email from Steven J. Mitchell with detailed instructions for online testing. All proctor instructions will be emailed on January 6, 2020.
  4. You are highly encouraged to test your students early in the week. Please avoid waiting until the last day to test your students.

DURING TESTING WEEK (January 7-9, 2020)
  1. Download testing materials.
  2. Execute all testing sessions, ensuring that all students have submitted their tests.

IMMEDIATELY AFTER TESTING (same day)
  1. Ensure all tests have been submitted.
